WYTV Pet of the Month Contest
OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.
1. HOW TO ENTER
a. The Pet of the Day Contest will begin on 09/02/2014 at 12:00am and will continue monthly until 08/31/2015.
b. To participate in the contest, go to WYTV.com click on Contests, click on Pet of the Month Contest
Submit registration information (Name, Address, E-mail & Phone) and fill out the form (Pet name, information, and submit pet picture) to be eligible to win.
Only pictures of a pet will be eligible. Pictures with adults or children will not be eligible.
c. “The Station is not responsible for Internet transmission errors, illegible entries, service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent transmitting his/her entry.
d. One entry per person per round (month). Each round will begin at 12:00 a.m. on the first day of the month and end at 11:59 p.m. on the last day of the month.
e. Entries MUST NOT include any intellectual property for which the entrant does not have permission. Entries MUST NOT include any nudity or other inappropriate content in the sole discretion of the station. Submissions MUST NOT contain any specific personal contact information about yourself or others (except for entrant’s name). Failure to obey these requirements may lead to disqualification in Station’s sole discretion.
2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
a. The contest is open to all WYTV listeners/viewers who are 13 years of age or older and who legally reside in Mahoning County, Columbiana County, Trumbull County and Mercer County. Employees of WYTV (the “Station”), its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other television stations in the Youngstown/Warren metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
b. You can only win the contest once in a calendar year.
c. Please bring your driver’s license or state ID for proof of identity.
3. PRIZES

b. All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the WYTV Building 3930 Sunset Blvd. Youngstown, OH 44512 M-F 8:30am-5:00pm.The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within seven (7) days of winning.In the event the winner can not pick up prize we allow a representative of winner to pick up prize. Representative must have ID, and know what contest they are picking up for.
c. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that the Station may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.
4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
a. Decisions of the Station management with respect to the contest are final.
b. The first business day every month at approx. 12PM the winner will be randomly selected and contacted via email or phone.
c. Out of all the eligible entries submitted for the round, the winner will be chosen randomly. The odds of winning, depends upon the number of eligible entries received, as applicable.
d. The winner will be notified though e-mail or phone. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, or if a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner forfeits prize.
5. CONDITIONS
a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.
b. By participating in the contest, participants agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize. The Website’s Terms of Service apply to any online portions of this Contest.
c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
d. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. “If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.”
e. Failure to comply with the contest rules or the Station’s website Terms of Service may result in an entrant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station.
f. The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
